Sewing Simplicity 8652 Pencil Skirt - Part 1 Pattern Adjustments and Markings

Hello! This pencil skirt pattern is a classic shape with double darts on both sides of front and back. I am making the view with the little pleated fan type kick vent. This skirt pattern is also going to serve as the basic fitted skirt pattern that I will be using to make the couture skirt so it is important that I get it fitted correctly at this stage. I am making adjustments for a petite size, shortening both the overall length and the dart length, as well as giving you an idea of how I try to make a quick fitting mock up to use when sizing a skirt for someone else.
Thanks for watching!
