Super Mario Bros. 35 (Switch) - Day 3 Battles: Stopped Short

As Super Mario Bros. 35 goes into its third day, I consistently make it into the final two, but with only one win. The other times I died by falling into a pit after having my jumping momentum stopped short from either a Cheep Cheep or from a power-up!
