Nordic Flexion aims to activate the hamstrings through movement in the knee joint.
❌ What we see in the video is wrong, as lowering the trunk through the hip joint significantly decreases the load on the hamstrings.
Moving the body through the knee, on the other hand, will require whole-body stabilization and will significantly increase the challenge.
✔️ To perform this exercise correctly, keep your hips and lower back in a fixed neutral position throughout the exercise and only move from your knees.
❓ Why do they make this mistake?
Some do it because they are unaware, while others use it to compensate for insufficient hamstring strength.
❗How to solve this problem?
You can wear a rubber band around your hips to help you if your hamstrings aren't strong enough, or use a mirror to help you increase your awareness of your body position.
