How I made Art from Wine Bottle | Filipiñana | Bottle Art | Upcycling

When I first saw this empty bottle, an image of a Filipina wearing a Kimona immediately came to mind. When I was in primary school, I was always one of those who got picked by our teachers to perform traditional dances during school programs so making this piece reminded me of those times. I named her "Gabriela", after the first female/Filipina revolutionary leader of an Ilocano movement for independence from Spain (a.k.a. Joan of Arc of Ilocandia).
