Rained on My Hay! Salvaging What Remains - 1st Cutting Grass Hay 2022 Michigan

Off to a great start of hay season 2022 when RAIN pops up suddenly in the forecast and it's a race to bale up the cut hay.

With half of it STILL on the field, there is nothing we can do but try to dry it back out and bale it up.

Fingers crossed it will turn out ok!

We managed to collect about 500 bales from roughly 17 acres from our hayfield in bad need of re-seeding!
