OK, then what’s the difference between asking one of your living friends or family members to pray for you or asking one of you dead friends of family members to pray for you? If we are all spirits, and we communicate on a different spiritual plane, then why the aversion by other Christian denominations to “pray” an intercessory prayer to any particular Saint or the Virgin Mary? In my opinion, there is no difference, if you truly believe we are all spirits trapped in a meat body lined with ego.
* Takeaway from Mass this morning: According to the Priest, Biden claimed the Pope said he was a “good Catholic.” Today’s homily was about how we, daily mass attendees, are “good Catholics,” and furthermore, it is our moral obligation to go and lead by example.
