Putin warns Satan 2 ballistic missile could be deployed in months

The Kremlin has threatened to deploy one of its most dangerous nuclear weapons before December.
Vladimir Putin today spoke about Moscow’s newly tested SARMAT RS-28 intercontinental ballistic missile dubbed Satan 2.
The Russian president told a meeting with new military graduates: ‘Successful testing of the Sarmat heavy intercontinental ballistic missile has been carried out.
‘It is planned that the first such complex will be put on combat duty by the end of the year.’
He went on to describe the deadly weapon as one with ‘the highest tactical and technical characteristics and is capable of overcoming all modern means of anti-missile defence’.
He also said the rest of the world has no comparable weapon, and will not have anything similar ‘for a long time to come’.
Satan 2 is a liquid-fueled rocket with an incredible range of 11,000 miles – meaning it can hit targets around the world.
