I Almost Got Scammed...

The other day I received an envelope in the mail from a company called LCPS or L C P S (Labor Law Compliance Service) who sent me a Labor Law Compliance Notice letter claiming that I needed to pay for a labor law poster.

I didn't know what labor law posters were, so I was about to pay the $94 that was demanded in the letter. The letter seemed real at first glance since they use words and phrases like:
- your business is required by federal law to post a current compliant labor law poster
- pursuant to federal law 29 USC Sec.666 (i) & 29 Sec.2005 penalties and risks of non compliance with posting can lead to potential fines
- Please respond by (SOME DATE)

HOW I DISCOVERED THIS WAS A SCAM
After careful research, I found out that this letter I received was a scam and that there are many Nevada labor law compliance poster scams in existence.

There are a few great resources when searching Google for labor law poster scams which will help you figure out if you're being scammed or not. I found out that this was a scam by analyzing the addresses for the company and the return envelope, which were different.

I received this envelope because I am an entrepreneur and just started an LLC for my business. These companies prey on those who do not know what is mandatory when starting a business and will fall victim to sending the money in the return envelope.

Hopefully by watching my videos, you will not be someone who falls victim to these types of scams.
