1.) v.9-13 Jesus rebukes Nicodemus for not understanding the Scriptures
-I should never stop being a learner
-I should allow the Holy Spirit to teach me the Scriptures
2.) v. 14-16 Jesus is the person we need to put our faith in
-I should trust in Jesus to eb saved
-I should believe God's love for us because of Jesus
-I should believe that anyone can be saved
3.) v. 17 Jesus did not come to condemn
-I should not condemn others
4.) v.18 We will be judged based on faith not works
-I should believe that works cannot save or condemn only faith or unbelief in Jesus
5.) v.19 People love the darkness
-I should not be surprised that people hate God
6.) v.20-21 Those who are forgiven come to the light
-I should welcome truth & honesty
