"Coward": Teachers who survived police shootings in Yuvarde "never forgive"
Arnulfo Reyes woke up ready for a good day. His third and fourth grades at Rob Elementary had completed their final exams the previous week. Honor will be awarded. He planned to show his students the movie The Addams Family. This is an animated version.
"It will be a good day," Reyes said in an exclusive interview with ABC News host Amy Robach. "There was nothing unusual that day. We went back to the classroom ... and watched the rest of the movie," Reyes said he heard a bang. Not knowing what it was, he asked the students to lie under their desk as they were practicing.
"The children were screaming,'What's wrong, Mr. Reyes?'" He said. "[Students] went under the table, and I tried to get them to do it as soon as possible."
