Michigan Early Antlerless Firearm Season | In the Field

Summer 2020 - As it goes most times when we set out to hunt does, we find the bucks. Though, we can't complain because doe hunting is underrated. The pressure is off when we set out for antlerless whitetails because the joy of hunting has nothing to do with antlers. As with all good things, joy comes from above. For there is treasure hidden in a field, that once a man has found it, he hides it again. Then, goes and sells all he has to purchase that field.

From a young age Derek has always loved the outdoors, especially hunting the family farm he grew up on. He'd spend his free time hunting or watching outdoor television. Though it seemed to him that all mainstream hunting shows were either secular or pagan. The one true God of all creation was absent. All outdoorsmen loved the creation but they didn't know the God who made it. Feeling the need to call this nation of hunters and outdoorsmen back to the Lord, In the Field was born.

In the Field is a faith based, online, hunting show. We tell the story of Derek's hunts through the words of scripture. We demonstrate how the Bible is the living Word, applicable to the hunt and, more importantly, essential for our life journey. From death to life, through Jesus Christ.
