On Today's Show:
Better late than never, right? Sorry for the day delay - I go over it a little at the top of the show but we had a crazy hectic week yet we're still happy to be back in your ears or on your screen!
This week, Todd and James join me to take your homebrewing questions and discuss other mostly on-topic things. Specifically, we talk about the different methods of chilling (cooling down) your wort and how some pieces of gear may work better for you depending on your situation.
We also discuss a listener who is getting bad foam whenever he switches from his corny keg of homebrew over to a commercial keg of beer. He makes a point to tell us that flow control faucets aren't really in his budget yet so we do our best to point him in the right direction!
Then, we take a question about what happens to beer that sits in the liquid lines for too long. Can it go stale? Could it cause off-flavors to arise or contaminate the beer?
Finally, we wrap up with a question asking if the BTF Iodophor stains on the listener's gear is going to affect future batches of beer. You all know how much we love BTF Iodophor and that we use it all the time so we have a lot of experience with this!
We want to hear from you!
If you have a question that you’d like us to discuss on a future episode, please click on the “Submit a Question” link at the top of our website or you can now call in your questions via our questions hotline @ 325-305-6107 and leave your message after the beep. This is a friendly reminder that, if we choose your question for a future episode, we give you a $25 gift card to that episode's sponsor!
Let us know what you think and enjoy the show!
cheers,
joshua
