I interview people at the March For Our Lives event in San Diego asking two questions. What Gun Control legislation would you like to see passed? Why would people be against it? The idea was to see if they understood what laws were already in place and how well they understood their effectiveness along with why those guns would be effective. Nearly all opposition arguments came down to money. Not that people had valid concerns for their rights or that they could be targeted and fined. It was groups that were pushing this like the NRA and GOP and the idea that individuals outside these groups made little difference. This partially confirms the idea that because the left is more collectivist in thinking, they can only see an enemy or opposition in terms of their own world view. The individual or the idea of genuine individual concerns are lost.
