Where were you on 911

I remember where I was on that warm clear Tuesday morning of September 11th, 2001. I will never forget. I remember like it was yesterday...

👉🏼 Where were you?

On this day.....20 years ago.....

246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.
2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.
343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.
60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.
8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift.

None of them saw past 10:00 am Sept 11, 2001.

In one single moment, life may never be the same.

As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow; kiss the ones you love, snuggle those children a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

We are praying for the families of those who lost a loved one on this day 20 years ago.

NEVER FORGET!!!

United We Stood on September 11th

Praying for the victims of this terrible tragedy and those who lost their lives and limbs fighting to keep us safe in the two decades afterward.
One of the most amazing things I noticed after 911 that we could use a little bit of right now was a sense of unity.

We were all Americans, people were friendlier even amidst the aggressive hustle and bustle in New York there was a courtesy, a thoughtfulness that existing for a long time afterward that stemmed from the incredible tragedy. There was a love of country and pride in being an American that seems to have since faded. We need to bring that back.
