Celebrating Music on the Summer Solstice

Dr. Chris and I became fast friends around music during the week of the summer solstice in 2020. She is a musician herself. She sings, plays harp and piano. We "cyber"-met over email when I sent her a song I had written for her and her beloved. Then in 2021, we spontaneously sang "Watchers on the Wall" for a loving crowd in Provo, Utah as we all navigated our way through the changing landscape. This year we connected quickly on Zoom to acknowledge this long day of light! May it shine into all of our lives, we watchers on the wall. My most heartfelt prayer today is may all the parents read the fine print.
