Super Mario Bros. 35 - 10/9/20-10/11/20 Special Battles: Intense Battle #2

Today in my daily Super Mario Bros. 35 matches, I had two of the most tense battles I've ever had! In the first regular battle for the daily quests, I paid an unexpected visit to World 8-4, the last level of the game, while the timer was red. Not a good place to build that timer back up! I made it through and as the timer started ticking down in hyperdrive, my last opponent's timer hit zero while mine still had 10 units left (which translates to about one second in real time at the rate it was counting down!) and I won. It was there that I also learned that the three different forms of Bowser can be sent on your enemies separately. In other words, when you kill Bowser in World 8, that version that throws hammers and spits fire will be sent on your enemies instead of the World 1-5 Bowser that only spits fire, and you can send over a World 1-5 Bowser that spits fire, a World 6-7 Bowser that throws hammers, and a World 8 Bowser that does both all at once!

In the next Special Battle, it was a Lakitu madhouse! I had to spam the Item Roulette like crazy just to try to get a Super Star for clearing the skies of all of the Lakitus and raining Spinies! I didn't think I was going to make it, but thankfully the Lakitus I sent over to my last opponent were able to finish the job! They don't call these event battles intense for nothing!
