The Best food plot!? Illinois Big buck story on 20 acres of pasture land!

This video is a major throwback going back to 2014, shortly after I began making videos, and this one has never seen the light of day. I came across it recently so I thought it would be a good story video on how you can literally create your own Big Buck luck on your property or your lease, or what have you. This was our very first Illinois farm that we lived on and it was 20 acres of PURE PASTURE LAND. Not really a tree or any viable cover to speak of. So, I went to town on it making several different food plots, and ironically, the one they liked the best was the one right next to our farmhouse! Corn, brassicas, clover, winter wheat and more, but they wanted that Chicory plot right next to the house!! This is a story about adding a variety of food sources to your land to increase your chances at a nice buck on your property! My apologies for some grainy video, but back then I had a marginal camera and it did not do well in low light. But you will clearly see this beautiful Illinois big buck that I botched an opportunity at! Oh, yeah, and I also botched a 2ND chance at it!!
