Halloween Fun ~ Candling our Lemon Blue Cochin Eggs ~ Vacuum Sealing Green Beans

Our town recently received a grant to put in new lamp posts in our main street area. To help celebrate they have asked people in the community to come and decorate for Halloween. We volunteered to decorate a pole and we feel it went really well.

It is time for our first candling on our Lemon Blue Cochin Eggs. How are they doing?

We are all finishing up the preservation process in our gardens and thanks to my wonderful neighbor I was able to vacuum seal and freeze several packs of really delicious green beans.
