Eight Miles High by The Byrds ~ Rising to Heaven via Stilling Your Mind

Eight Miles High is simply one of the most Creative and Brilliant Songs of all time...the song was conceived by Gene Clark, with Roger McGuinn adding in the Insanely Brilliant Guitar fills throughout the Song, a la the style of John Coltrane on the Saxophone...but it was the finishing of the song by David Crosby that helped to turn this Manifestation into something that would NEVER be forgotten...an Alchemical masterpiece that spoke to achieving Heaven Upon Earth...

The song teaches us that the State of Heaven is located 'Eight Miles High', which is an allegory for achieving Eternal Life at the Right hand side of God...and throughout the song, both Clark and Crosby show us that "when we come down", off of Meditation, we are surrounded by those who represent the Huddled Masses, crowded within Cities, Alone, sundered from God...and that [they] represent both the Coldness of this World and the "Strange, Small Faces" staring at us in bewilderment...

And ultimately, that only by Stilling the Mind from Within, can we Raise ourselves to this God Frequency...Stillness and Silence are Supreme, and in Unity, they Raise us UP to God in Heaven upon Earth...Eternally...thus, Eight Miles High...
