A golden boy who lives with a doting mother and nurturing father lives an idyllic, if isolated life; he is excited that he will soon have a sibling to share his knowledge and imagination with. He finds himself fascinated with a nearby woods and meet mysterious presences in this liminal space. They warn him about dangers ahead and remind him of a forgotten past.
