Nothing like having a DIY task take on NEXT LEVEL classy 😅 Inspired by my father, I reinforce a weak gage wire to accommodate the purpose of what I need for my vandas. If you decide to use this technique, then increase the tension on the wire with the drill as it straightens, this will help in the reinforcing and prevent the wire from just spinning without getting it straightened and hardened off. Inspired by Todd's Tropicals, we up at the anti from a simple wire vanda hanger, to my deluxe version with a protective plastic cover, which not only protects the wire from the elements, but also the vanda roots growing from the stem from the wire, which in my case, affects the root tip and causes it to stop growing.
