Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a fighting video game developed by Spike and published by Bandai Namco in Japan and published by Atari in North America. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was originally released on October 4th, 2007 for the Playstation 2 in Japan. Later on, DBZ BT3 was released in Europe on November 9th, 2007 and was released four days later in North America on November 13th, 2007. Both later release dates saw a 2 version of the game.

A Wii version was released in Japan on October 4th, 2007, the same day the 2 version was launched. On December 3rd, 2007, North America got a release date for the Wii version and Europe got the Wii version on February 15th, 2008.

In a fit of rage over the death of his best friend Krillin, Goku finally awakens his Super Saiyan powers! Overwhelmed by Goku's might, Frieza fights at full power as well.
