Genesis Commentary Chapter 1-3

I've already goofed up and didn't begin with a prayer and my video time expired before I could end with a prayer, so this time you are on your own to say a prayer!

God offered mankind paradise and we lost it due to our disobedience and lack of repentance. Satan (The highest angel) who was cast to the earth is here to challenge God and his Word. He speaks to our body, soul, and spirit in a deceitful way to corrupt us. He was successful in pursuading Eve and subsequently Adam into eating from the forbidden tree of knowledge, which was God's only bug-a-boo. Thus, a great curse was placed upon the earth and all that inhabit it. We shall decay and fall into disorder until the great redeemer returns (Jesus).

Although we are free moral agents, we must "listen" to the Word of God, then trust and obey, repent for our sinful nature, and show love back while being thankful for what has been given to us from the creator. As God is our loving provider!

If we are to prolong the return of God's son, we must be great stewards of this earth and discontinue the constant destruction. We need to stop meddling with nature and acting as God's ourselves. Let's stop being deceived by Satan and his followers.
