GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

What is real love? That's a question I think a lot of people ask, especially those who have been given the counterfeit version of love, through those who want to manipulate, control, and/or be self-serving in their supposed love. Those who want attention, and notoriety for the things that they do, so that people will notice them. From where I stand, they're not showing real love, but being self-serving, manipulative and more so. I think that's why the questions that I read in this morning's devotional today, we're very challenging to me, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and allow God to speak to your heart through them.

How have you experienced or seen a difference between sincere and self-serving love?

How can a community of faith help us learn to love others wholeheartedly?

What I'd like to do right now, is share some things I've learned throughout the years of personal experience, and from God's Word. It has a lot to do with how we define love, and how we practice it, and I pray that you'll listen. Come join me in this vlog, and learn for yourself what sincere love is, and how to express it as a believer! 😊

As I close this post for tonight, I want to challenge you in your thinking about what love is, but also in how you express that love. I pray that you express it in a sincere, loving, and Christlike fashion with everyone that you encounter, so that Christ Jesus is seen in you. Remember that you want to be genuine in your love, not self-serving, manipulative, or controlling, but truly selfless, compassionate, and self-giving. Love is definitely not a fear driven need for control, but a joyful commitment to each other's well-being. I pray especially that if you are involved in a relationship that doesn't show what real love is, that is controlling, manipulative, selfish, self-serving, or negative in any way shape or form, and that you are not afraid to leave this environment. It may mean you have to leave a person who was showing these negative qualities, and involve a lot of healing, but God will bring you through it. I especially reach out to those who are in abusive relationships, if you're being physically, sexually, verbally, and emotionally abused, do not be afraid to speak out and run away from that relationship! If there is someone who has manipulated you into believing that the sexual contact they are forcing on you is love, know right now that they are lying to you, and don't be afraid to tell somebody what is being done to you. That is certainly not love, and you are not at fault for what they’re doing to you!
