China Cuts Corners to Win Vaccine Race

China is in a race to develop the world's first coronavirus vaccine. A Covid 19 vaccine would be a huge political boon for China, considering the coronavirus pandemic spread around the world because the Chinese Communist Party, with the help of the World Health Organization, tried to cover it up. But a Covid vaccine could come at a huge cost. China is testing experimental drugs on its own citizens. Not something that would really fly with a Western pharmaceutical like Johnson and Johnson. And if China wins the race to develop the first coronavirus vaccine, that could spell disaster for the world.
