There is only one way to let go of unforgiveness and that is to be reminded of how we have been forgiven by God. Forgiveness is not a feeling and it doesn't change your past, but it will enlarge your future. It is a gift from God and He wants us to share it with others. Releasing another person from an offense benefits you more than that person receiving your forgiveness.
