The role of Holistic Decision Making from households to public policy
This is the second podcast of a series with Sarah Savory and Helen Lewis.
Sarah has been tireless in arguing that this is THE first change we need to make: from a reductionist to a holistic management. Sarah is also adamant in saying that until we recognise that people, economies and nature are inseparable in a complex web, we are doomed to fail even with the best regenerative practices.
Helen is an accredited Holistic Management consultant, farmer and educator that has been focusing on the application of Holistic Management for non land based people. Helen's Decision Making course helps families integrate their quality of life, passions and finances within a holistic context that brings a proactive and healthy approach to life.
In this chat we explore together the applications of Holistic Management and the hindrances for its adoption as managing our lifes, resources and ecosystems holistically is the only solution to revert desertification, climate change, and the Anthropocene.
