I love Jiu-jitsu, it was a huge influence in my life growing up. A few weeks ago my twin brother came across a video of my fighting when I was a kid. I got in contact with the person who uploaded the video to this women's grappling channel and he put me in contact with Jen Haas, a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu brown belt and IBJJF gold medalist.

Women don't usually get a lot of coverage in the jiujitsu world, like many sports it is male dominated, but it has many benefits for women so we would like to advocated for more women to get involved.

Jen is starting a women's program at here school, Fredson Paixo Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. Go check it out!
If you're not in the area check out your local jiujitsu gym.
If you're in NJ I recommend my friends at Momentum in Nutley, NJ. They also do a women's class and they have a great community.
