June is typically a month of celebration for the LGTBQIA2S+ community and its allies. But during this year’s Pride events there are stark reminders that hate still exists. And similar incidents have played out across the country and the U.S. Mike Drolet examines this disturbing trend and what’s being done to address it.
Hearings on the U.S. Capitol riot continue this week and we’re expecting to see what the committee is characterizing as an “attempted coup” by former president Donald Trump. On Tuesday, state officials are going to speak about how they were pressured by Trump to overturn local election results in a bid to hold onto the White House. Jennifer Johnson has more including how Trump is responding.

As Ross Lord reports, researchers are working to gather more data and ease the trauma of those affected.
