Lion Encounter, Orana Wildlife Park, Christchurch New Zealand

January 2020. Special Lion Encounter, popular, is a tour you can do at Orana Wildlife, which is pretty much the Zoo for Christchurch. This video is HDR 4K 30fps native. It was overcast early in the morning but cleared up by lunch time. The Lion Feeding time on this day was at 2:30 pm but for visitors who pay for the tour, which is a little over NZ$50, we meet at 2:15 pm at a meeting point. You get to go behind the scenes and into the lion enclosure in a caged vehicle, and get 1st class views of the zoo keepers feeding the lions up close. Well worth it.
