The Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni has led the country for over 35 years.
A new era of young people who costitute 85% of the country's population has grown up knowing Museveni as the president and no other. They are now seeking for change. The arrest of their leader Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu led to an uprising that was met with an army armed to the tooth and ready to slay protesters under marshal law.
