I grew up in Los Angeles. And we you know there were some primaries recently. A lot of progressive candidates are moving forward. Which is pretty exciting. But my parents particularly my dad they've kind of fallen further and further down. I mean you guys played Dennis Prager a lot this is home base. los Angeles is home base for the guy. and so I wanted your perspective sam because my dad is an actor and he's not like a famous actor. but you know he did a job recently and he got paid 10 grand for today's shoot. and then when you pull out kind of the management fees and you know the in taxes being in California take home like you know he maybe was embellishing but it's like close to a thousand bucks. so talking to someone yeah he's embellishing a little bit. but he's embellishing a little bit I mean even if he has a manager agent and lawyer you know you that's maybe 25-30. and then that's all tax-deductible. so you know he's paying 60 taxes in some way or you know he's still. but okay. but fair enough. right, so it's like it's hard to try and talk about these progressive candidates who are now more confidently being you know coming out as being like socialists or coming from the Bernie camp. it's tough to talk about them with like I can't imagine paying any more taxes. you know I'm already paying I'm already taking home so little. on top of that, you know I think this all kind of began with you know Obamacare. like I think our sag benefits were kind of worse afterward. the like blue cross blue shield. it was worse after. and then you know on top of that like you guys have been doing a really good job providing context to kind of this you know new crime wave quote-unquote and I'm kind of re-contextualizing it as I said. but it is getting worse where we grew up.
