I recently had a conversation with a former POW of the Bosnian War who is now an American citizen. He has a very interesting perspective on the political conflict we are seeing in our own country and the flood of different cultural groups into our nation.

The more we study history and the cause of conflicts, the better we can understand how they could easily happen here. One of the things he emphasized to me was how fast things change. He said that it was virtually overnight that people that were friends became enemies.

The war in Bosnia is an example of the dangers we now face in our own land with the political and cultural conflict we are now seeing.
