In This Michigan Salmon fishing video I am targeting Coho Salmon with spinners on The Grand River and some of its tributaries. Coho salmon fishing on The Grand River is a lot of fun and I believe tracking and scouting as wall as good timing plays a large role in my 2020 salmon fishing fishing success. In this Michigan fishing video I show off some cohos eating spinners. Salmon fishing with spinners is epic level Michigan fishing. I love to go salmon fishing with spinners because no other lure produces as many salmon bites as a spinner. This year Ive been fishing a lot with skein and I still am getting more coho bites on spinners than anything else! In this video I got one coho salmon on a Mepps Black Furry spinner and one on a hand made Spinner made by my buddy Nick Godwin a steelhead fishing guide who owns The Grand Addiction Guide service a salmon and steelhead guide service specializing in Grand River fishing for salmon and steelhead. So anyway if you don’t believe coho salmon eat spinners while they are in the river then this Michigan salmon fishing video is for you! In both cases I clearly watched the fish chase and eat a spinner and its not the first time lol. When it comes to fishing for coho salmon spinners are the way to go in my opinion. Mag lips and hot n tots get a lot of recognition but are hard to use from shore or while wading but the mighty spinner can be worked in almost any current conditions from any direction. If you like to watch cohos eating spinners or you are into Michigan salmon fishing make sure to subscribe as I intend to make plenty more salmon fishing videos!

This is one of my favorite Michigan fishing videos I have put out because of how fun each one of these salmon were to catch. When it comes to salmon fishing Michigan I am still a novice but I have a few years of experience doing some Michigan salmon fishing. As far as grand river salmon fishing goes I am improving my salmon fishing game every year. I caught my first salmon in The Grand River and I have caught many more since. From The Grand River to The Manistee river cohos are abundant and easy to catch compared to the pesky Michigan steelhead. Michigan steelhead fishing is a whole nother ball of wax but salmon fishing in Michigan and Michigan steelhead fishing go hand in hand in many ways. A lot of Michigan salmon fishing techniques are quite similar to the techniques used for steelhead. Everybody knows lake Michigan has plenty of salmon in it but Lake Michigan salmon fishing doesn't compare to river fishing for salmon. River fishing for salmon presents a whole nother level of challenges that make Michigan salmon fishing super fun and rewarding. I am looking forward to the 2021 Michigan salmon run more than just about anything else in the world of Michigan fishing.

Here at Reel Michigan Anglers Michigan fishing videos are the name of the game and I consistently release a minimum of 1 Michigan fishing video each week!
Reel Michigan Anglers is a personal passion and my gift to fellow fisherman. In the future I hope to do more informational fishing videos and cover different types of fishing all across the great state of Michigan. My goal, time permitting is to fish as many different bodies of water for as many different fish species as I can get try hands on. I am a Lansing Michigan resident working towards transferring to MSU for Fisheries and wildlife. My goal is to expand operations and bring more educational and entertaining fishing videos to my subscribers. In the meantime you can count on me for the occasional video outlining the the techniques and areas I fish for Bass, Pike, Walleye, Steelhead, Salmon, Trout, Carp, Suckers, Catfish and Panfish ect. You can see additional videos and other fun fishing related info on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... I Wouldn't be the fisherman I am today without other fisherman who taught me the things I know and I am a firm believer that the sport and conservation of fishing in Michigan is better when we share it with one another. Wether your trying to lean a new spot to fish, a new crank bait to try, advise on what fishing rod to use, what fishing line to use, what color spinner a coho likes, what color jig a steelhead prefers, how to rig live bait, match the hatch, understand fish migration, the effects of barometric pressure or any other aspect of fishing the best way to learn is from other fisherman. That combined with trial and error and pure time spent on the water is the key to improving your fishing game. The better you get the more fun it is and the more we share the fun with others the more future generations will benefit from it.
