Yamaha Raider oil change Debacle

You ever have one of those days??? yeah,,,,this is one. I started off the day by breaking the valve stem off her Yamaha raider motorcycle while checking the tire pressure, and the day went down hill from there. I got the floor of my garage oiled up real nice so it wont squeak and I had to go and buy yet another tool to work on motorcycles. All in all, I'm glad That day was over, but glad I changed the oil. based on the filter not coming off and the oil being black, thick, and goopy, I have a feeling that it has either never been changed, or changed long ago.
