Steve Wilson is Stevie Ray Vaughn's former amp tech. He was with SRV up until his death in 1990. He recently invited me over to his Louisville, Kentucky studio, which turned out to be one of the coolest places I've ever visited for guitar and tech geeks. He also invited his friend, Greg Martin, of the Kentucky Headhunters, who brought his famous 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard, once owned by Ed King and Hank Williams Jr. In this PART ONE video of what will likely be a series, we'll check out Steve's 1963 Fender Strat and Greg's 1958 Les Paul in detail.
