Miami holds gun buyback in support of Ukraine

Amid a recent string of mass shootings in the United States, the City of Miami in collaboration with the Miami-Dade Police Department held a gun buyback event Saturday. Earlier in the week, District 2 Commissioner, Ken Russell announced the program with a tweet describing the buyback event to "support Ukraine and take guns off the streets."
