Established in 2071, before belonging to the Van Graff family, the Silver Rush rivaled the Atomic Wrangler in Freeside. Desiring it for their new location, the Van Graffs killed its former occupants and then set up shop. When the Kings showed up to protest, the Van Graffs reduced several of their members to goo and the two have left each other alone ever since. Once opened, the Silver Rush was headed by Frieda Van Graff for awhile, but Frieda soon left the Silver Rush to pursue personal interests. After Frieda's departure, Gloria Van Graff and Jean-Baptiste Cutting were assigned to head the Silver Rush. Now that the Silver Rush is no longer a casino, and instead an energy weapons market, its proximity to the Atomic Wrangler attracts customers.
