Modern Magick: Walk with Knowledge Wisely

Magick is one of the most misunderstood and maligned subjects t hart I can think of, especially among practitioners. Superstition, ignorance, and well meaning folly follow it like a plague. Properly understood, it is an extension of the natural sciences; a tool for investigation of the Great Mysteries, and a catalyst for personal growth and expanding consciousness. It is a branch of physics, and this perhaps explains the consistent failure of most casual dabblers. Once largely abandoned as a superstitious folly of antiquity, the wholesale rejection of abject materialism has led to a resurgence in interest in the subject. Unfortunately, this has mostly only resulted in resurgence of superstitious folly. The concept is predisposed to abuse in innumerable forms, from naïve misunderstanding, to deliberate exploitation by unscrupulous profiteers.
In tonight’s Lightstream, I will offer such wisdom as I can to assist interested parties in the tedious work of separating the wheat from the chaff and transmutating lead into gold.
