Wild-caught fish are captured in their natural habitats by fishermen, such as ponds, streams, oceans, etc. The primary benefit of a Wild-caught fish is that they simply eat species present in their existing environment, which is much more diverse than what farmed fish typically gets to eat.
However, Wild-caught fish has the advantage of not having antibiotics. They do not have the same risk of disease or contamination and Wild-caught fish are generally believed to be a healthier option as they live longer and have a more diverse diet than farm-grown fish.
They are however a point of concern for the environment as many wild fish are caught using dangerous methods, including drift nets. Some are trapped using less damaging devices, such as cage traps and hand tracks.

While many fisheries around the world today are in danger due to overfishing, seafood as a source of protein and nutrition should still be a part of our daily meal routine. Sockeye Salmon
Sockeye Salmons are so rich in Omega-3. When taken sustainably, all of the wild-caught salmon species are arguably one of the best, healthiest foods we can consume. Omega-3 fatty acids help improve heart health and reduce the risk of having a heart attack. Consuming enough Omega-3 has beneficial effects on blood lipids and our overall cholesterol health profile.
Brook Trout
Brook trout live in the cold, clean water of most untouched wilderness areas. If water conditions ever change, even a little, the brook trout disappears due to pollution or other causes. Maybe the fish we’re doing most caught-and-released is also a treat on the grill.
Pacific Sardines

Walleye is a formidable protein source that is necessary for the building and repair of all body parts. It is also enriched with omega-3 fatty acids, a type of healthy fats that help maintain a healthy heart and are beneficial for the development of the brain.
Walleye also has a high source of vitamin D, which combines with calcium to maintain healthy, strong bones.
