RESTING IN THE ULTIMATE EXAMPLE OF GRACE AND HUMILITY

Philippians 2:8 King James Version
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

I have to say guys there's something about this passage of scripture that really touches my heart. Not just because it depicts the crucifixion and death of my savior, but also how he conducted himself during all of this. How he chose to respond to the insults, mocking, and nasty things that were being said from the crowd, with love, compassion, and forgiveness. He even showed this to the two thieves as they were mocking Him! In the end, you see one thief turn and repent, because Jesus showed forgiveness instead of vengeance. You see redemption because Jesus chose to respond with true grace and humility, and I'm challenged by that. I'm also very incredibly challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with all of you today. Please read these questions below, carefully think about them, and ask God to speak to you through them.

What difficult and humbling circumstances are you facing these days?

What I'd like to do right now, is share some things that God has put on my heart, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight. I pray that what I share, encourages you as well as challenges you to look to the ultimate example of grace and humility through Christ Jesus, and that you'll learn to practice that grace and humility in your own life as well. Come join me in this vlog, and learn about this beautiful example of grace and humility! 😊

As I close this post for tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will challenge you to lean on the One that will help you through any difficult and humbling circumstance you were facing right now, and learn to lean on Him always.

How can you rest on Jesus during this challenging season?

My prayer in the midst of all of this my friends, is that when the storms of life surround you, when you were going through difficult seasons, challenging, humbling, and overwhelming circumstances in your life, that you will turn to the One who went through those very things Himself, and responded with true grace and humility. That you will remember the very One, who as scripture states, “humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:8), so that we could live a life free from the bondage of sin. My prayer most of all, is that in whatever trying situation you're facing right now, or maybe even in the days ahead, learn to trust God to provide you the courage you need, so that you can lovingly speak the “wonderful words of life” to the lost around you. https://www.ccphilly.org/do-you-know-him/

UNTIL SUNDAY;

HAVE A TRANQUIL, BLESSED, AND RESTFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
