04 Liberation from self enlightenment

When we refuse to allow God's Spirit to enlighten us through his Word, we are forever compelled to try to enlighten ourselves. In this way enthrone our own wisdom as an idol and act as if we are clever than God. This leads us into all kinds of foolishness. Reflections on how the Spirit of God sets us free from this by directing us to the light and wisdom God so freely gives.
