Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, Fuquan does an initial walkthrough and shows us the first few weeks of work being done on his newly acquired South Orange, NJ property. At first, the property seemed to have relatively few issues, but as work progressed, the challenges became apparent.

The two main challenges are the steam radiator and the sky blue siding, mainly because neither contribute to a high quality renovation, and because replacing them will add to the expenses. Although the expense is a drawback, providing good quality work is more important.

Fuquan’s plan is to get the property on the market within 7 months. Within that time, they need to upgrade the electrical and plumbing, and the kitchen, redo the bathrooms, remove interior walls to expand rooms, redo the porch and the deck, repave the driveway, replace the siding, the windows, and the garage doors, and fix the landscaping. This is aside from the challenges that Fuquan is certain will pop up along the way.
