Making Good Vibrations Soap for Newsday Interview

We have such exciting news. I was approached by Newsday (a major newspaper her in New York) to do an interview to talk about my soap business and how the pandemic has affected it. I was extremely nervous about this- I don't know why since I record myself making soap all of the time. Anyway, the reporter wanted us to make a really colorful so so I chose four really bright colors from Mad Micas- cheesy poof, radioactive, tennis ball breaker, and pretty in pink, and we made a test loaf before the camera crew came to the house. It is super bright and colorful. Just what they were looking for. The reporter asked me questions and the camera crew filmed. This video is the filming of the test loaf. I did add the actual interview that aired on Newsday.com at the end of the video. Let me know how you think I did in the comments.

We didn't have a name for this soap before we designed it. We came up with the name after we cut the soap and put up pictures on instagram and short videos on TikTok. I think Good Vibrations fits this soap perfectly. I used black raspberry vanilla fragrance because I know how it behaves and I didn't want any surprises in front of a camera crew. This soap will be available in our shop in a few weeks.
