Roaring Bear - A 3Point Animation Animatic - Halloween 2020

This is our annual Halloween animatic, courtesy of Jordan White and his friends at 3Point Animation.

Roaring Bear tells the story of a Native American killed by greedy Southerners who stole his land, and now haunts the area near the foot of the Southern Appalachian mountains.

I wanted the way I portrayed Cherokee Indians and the tragedy they experienced to be shown in a ghost story that is safe enough for families with children to watch. Understanding a culture is one of the best ways we can end discrimination against our own brothers and sisters, and we don't have to tear down everything we've built to achieve that vision.

If any of you have any problems with this short, don't hesitate to put in the comments how you feel, and I will improve my storytelling skills. Autistic stories matter, and so do Native American stories.
