Today we read about God punishing those that wanted to go back to Egypt while rewarding Caleb and Joshua. David writes this psalm about the the fleeting time of a person's life. James writes about submitting to the Lord and humbling yourself before God. He continues telling people not to boast about tomorrow, but to focus on obeying God.
