NEWS FROM THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR Amnesty International said there was evidence Russian forces repeatedly used 9N210/9N235 miskette bombs and "fragmentation ammunition". Bombs that contain many small mines and explode at regular intervals are covered by partially efficient ammunition. In an inspection that lasted more than 2 weeks on the ground, Amnesty took the 41 explosions, where at least 62 civilians were killed and 196 were injured. The study concluded that Russia killed civilians during the buying process, waiting for food aid, or just walking down the street, in marble bombs and targetless attacks. “These weapons are not to be used in any way, they are not target-oriented, they are sensitive weapons,” Donatella Rovera, senior crisis response adviser at Amnesty, told the BBC.
