Ellis Bird Farm-Room To Stretch 🦉 5/24/22 14:42

Mom has left to take her evening break. Her Owlets now have some room to stretch those growing wings. While stretching, we can see the juvenile feathers are replacing the fluffy down nicely. The pin feathers on the wings are very noticeable which will produce the permanent feathers needed to fly. After some wing stretching, the Owlets snuggle together and wait for Mom's return.

FYI: From what I can tell by the dates of the posted videos, the Owlets are 3 weeks old. Hatching after the date of April 27, 2022.
