Picked last, Sat out
8th school dance
had a flower, girl passed
High school drop out
In a band, kicked out
Grew up
Found drugs
I hurt myself
I lost love
Got clean recovery
and I can still hold a melody
Sober, Shut out
pent up in my house
And I don't think I'll ever leave the state
Feeling Like I had a different fate
If I could just erase the taste in my mouth I think I could make it out

Im just floating through life
I won't notice the mistakes I'm making
