Hitachi D-W800 - Pt 1 - Old vintage double cassette deck from 1983 - I can't fix it !!!

Here we have Hitachi double (dual) stereo cassette deck dinosaur from 1983, model D-W800 on the table, but I couldn't fix it in my 1st attempt!

What took my attention was background lights that are usual on high end 3 head cassette deck models, but this one has it too ?!?

I tried to revive it, but it was a dead end... until...
